It’s NOT Beginning to Feel A Lot Like Christmas – Some A.M. pics

But I know what will get me in the mood.  The Lighted Boat Parade.  But we had rain last night, it’s overcast, grey and humid this morning.  Let’s hope for two things:  that the weather clears for the parade tonight AND that I can figure out a way to take at least ONE GOOD PICTURE of the boat parade.  Night photography is not my forte.  But even if I don’t, I will bring you some people-shots of the after party.

Here are some pics of my walk to town this morning and a few from 2 days ago when it was a bit nicer!

Let’s start with the nice weather.  I love the kid in the back…he was very serious about his photo shoot.  Almost like Damien.

A Canadian shrimp boat?

Caribbean Villas replacing their dock.

The largest type of egret/heron/storks that we seem to get down here.  Grayish blue with wispy feathers around the neck.  They are pretty cool.

And Carrie at her first day working Crazy Canucks.  Named #1 Bar in San Pedro by –> Best Bars.  Drummer Dan is lurking in the background.

Our resident dog whisperer from Pampered Paws walks with his pack.  BE THE PACK LEADER!

Okay…now to today.  It is STILL – the trees are not even rustling!  Look at the PUP (Peoples United Party, duh!) flag just hanging limply.  And I apologize in advance that the pictures aren’t in order.

The dock at Xanadu Hotel.
The sea is like glass by Coconuts and Tuff Enuff Tours.
Chito and another fisherman taking advantage of the running sardines.  Early morning bait collection before taking out some guests.
Some morning yoga practice at the Royal Palm dock.
The pretty tiling at Grand Colony.

I missed this post somehow! You have some really good photos here. I especially love the one of the Coconuts/Tuff Enough hut with the reflective ocean. And the bird is a Great Blue Heron. 🙂
