You can read about the last event: Belize Pummels Mexico in November 2011. I am no huge boxing fan but this event is SO MUCH FUN for adults and kids. Honestly, the town goes nuts.
Saturday, June 23rd, BELIZE’S FIRST EVER INTERNATIONAL YOUTH SAILING REGATTA at Central Park, beginning at 10am and Sunday, June 24th, continued sailing starting at 9am at Caribbean Villas Resort
San Pedro’s youth sailing club is just 11 months old and has been doing so many fun things with boats donated by businesses and individuals across the island. On Saturday, along with kids from mainland Belize, they will be testing their sailing skills against Guatemala in an Friendly International Regatta. (The event above will probably not be as friendly…)
Honestly, there is nothing cuter than watching these junior sailors bobbing in the waves in boats barely bigger than bath tubs. On Saturday, Estel’s would be a fantastic place to watch the kids…
or Sunday, enjoy the event, BBQ and live music at Caribbean Villas.
Sunday, June 24th, Fundraiser for the Liberty Home Orphanage at Pedro’s Inn, Starting at Noon
A party with tons of prizes, live music, raffles, auctions and great BBQ with proceeds going to Liberty Childrens’ Home in Belize City? Can you think of a better way to spend your time? Plus, all the kids are taking the trip out to the island for the day to enjoy the party and the pool? I will see you there.
