Snapshot Sunday: The Week ALL Over Belize
Instead of losing interesting in Instagram, I become more and more enamored. Despite the fact that of the 400 million users, 90% are estimated to be below 35 years old. I…miss that demographic by a few years. But it’s such an easy, fun, fast way to share your pictures and follow what others are doing around…say…Belize.
Here are some pictures of my week – and others’ around the country.
In case you wanted to catch up with what the reef sharks are up to in the Blue Hole. WOW. Isn’t it gorgeous?
Or if somehow you escaped my campaign to go to India on a blogging trip. INDIA! Please vote for me. It takes a facebook account and about 4 seconds.
The weather, for the most part, has been mixed…sun, clouds, cloud burst, sun. The northerly winds have been our first “cold front” – temps dipping into the high 70s at night. It’s also been keeping the sargasso from washing up on shore. Win – win.
Oh…and another “win” – clear calm water for diving.
A photo of the former Wet Willy’s…soon to be PALAPA BAR!
Way up north…just north of Xtan Ha Resort.
And on the way up there…
My Friday view from the floor of Crossfit San Pedro.
And later that day…
It was beautiful out in Cayo. Here is Xunantunich in all of her glory.
We had a sunset that was a real show stopper. (Or golf cart stopper.)
Imagine watching one during a sunset dive. Pretty cool.
Or while out fly fishing.
I went Christmas shopping – not to actually buy things (though I was tempted) but to compile a list…
From Rubimoon Boutique.
Santa in his skivvies.
The cutest t-shirts from Blue Water Grill.
And I must stop in to see their sign all lit up for Christmas. I DO love Belize.
Front Street San Pedro.
And some welcoming hotel entrances…
And shopping in Caye Caulker.
Copa Airlines, a major player in Central and South America, flew its first flights from Panama City to Beliize City…it started December 6 and will continue twice a week.
Sigh…a beautiful pre-Christmas week. This upcoming on includes the LOVEFM Xmas Parade and the Lighted Boat Parade…there is still time to come on down.
Have a great Sunday everyone. And, oh yes, don’t forget to vote.
