Earlier this year, I wrote and then self-published a guidebook to Ambergris Caye, Belize – the type of Belize travel guide that I would want when visiting…and it also includes 9 Experiences for a day trip to Caye Caulker….

and it’s FINALLY in softcover form.  Well…it has been since last week but I wanted to get it in my own hands to make sure that it was real.

The book is available from Amazon – in eBook format and softcover.  And it’s an Amazon bestseller.

I am shipping a bunch down to Belize for sale here…but it is going to take a while.  I hope to have them available by the beginning of December in a few spots around the island.

Belize is getting more and more well known – and it’s the amazing natural wonders that really hook first-time visitors.  The stuff they see on pretty Instagram photos or glossy brochures.  The Great Blue Hole.  The 2nd Longest Barrier Reef in the World.

But I wanted to write a guidebook, a Belize travel guide that outlines the experiences that made me fall in love with Belize.  The ones that I suggest to friends and family when they visit and the things that I still do on a daily basis.  I wanted to be specific – where to go, what to order and most importantly, why you will love it.  To answer the questions I get every single day through my website.

And throw in some maps, photos, lots of tips and fun trivia nuggets.  Stuff like…

And about writing a book…if you have always wanted to, go for it!

I TOTALLY get why many people start them and never finish them.

But know that those websites and videos that tout “PASSIVE INCOME!” or “WRITE A BOOK AND START MAKING MONEY IN ONE MONTH!” are doing some EXTREME sugar-coating.  EXTREME.

I’ll write more about the process after I get out of “recovery mode”.  It might be called “How To Fumble Your Way Thru Writing a Travel Guide” or “How I Got Very Lucky When…”.  My rehabilitation period/recovery mode could last anywhere from another few weeks to a few years.
