The Best Lobster Menu on the Island?

This is just a quicky. A Monday Short. But I have found the best lobster menu on the island.

Maybe I am taunting you a bit by declaring “the best”. Obviously I haven’t been to every single restaurant that serves lobster. I want you to share your favorite lobster dishes and menus around the island…please do.

But it is the best one I’ve seen. So let me tell you about it.

A few days ago, we went to Cool Beans Cafe for lunch with Jeff’s friends that are visiting for the island for the second time. The first time was their honeymoon in 2003!

Cool Beans has fantastic food every day and amazing all-day breakfast but this KILLER lobster menu for the Lobster Season. (July 1st to Feb 28th) was really impressive. They are also locally owned and the crew is lovely.

Here’s are lots more pictures and the GORGEOUS avocado toast from my breakfast last year

Here are all my pictures.

Cool Beans is on the north side of the High School just north of San Pedro town. In the Boca Del Rio neighborhood.

Here is the breakfast menu. They make a killer eggs benedict.

I LOVE the variety. I love breakfast for lunch but it was this Lobster Menu that really wowed me. It’s not just the standard items or all fried stuff but a nice range of a lobster dishes…that all sound delicious.

I want to try that sub! But Jeff and I went for Lobster Benny and it was really great. Two halves of a lobster tail tucked under the most perfectly poached eggs.

The Garlic Shrimp also looks pretty delicious.

Try them! Over the water, great food, it was even 2 for 1 margaritas. I’m a huge fan of Cool Beans (we send guests there all the time and get universal rave reviews).

For more information, check out their Facebook page. And let me know your favorite lobster menu on the island.

Yes, their food is delicious but I find their prices are geared toward tourists, not locals.

With this seating and menu and location on the water, I think the prices are pretty good here.

The “chicken sandwich ” had very good bun, lettuce and tomato, but had a slice of chicken about 1/16th of an inch thick. Basically had a vegetable sandwich with a little crust. Will not order again.
