SO Excited to Share this Video: Introducing Rocky Point Permit Camp

Morning all! I’ve been sharing countless pictures of our new spot – Rocky Point Permit Camp – a small flyfishing camp located on the north north side of Ambergris Caye.

Up at RPPC

But my pictures do this magical location NO JUSTICE. WAIT until you see this!

Our friends Jesse and Koji were up in August and put together this video and…I hope you think it is as incredible as we do.

Take a look – it gives me goosebumps even though I’m watching now for the 108th time.

This video just killed it Jeff & Rebecca. What a tribute to the camp and what the sport is all about. Mary & I had a chance to visit and share your vision. Incredible!

CFF&F was great, and I’m sorry we lost the retirement orchard 🥲 but RPPC is Awesome, Stunningly Beautiful and seems unique in all the world. The video is world class and very exciting – I’m sending it out to several people asap. I’m really happy for you and Jeff, but now I have only one question: When are we starting the new orchard, lol?

The soil is actually better up there – sandy and veeeerrrrrrryyy well draining…spongy. Held together by the incredible system of saltwater palmetto roots but we’ve got the same issue. WATER! Struggling with things that aren’t native here is…a battle! I’m trying to sprout a basic lime tree now. Limes are 50 cents each and we buy…50 of them a week? Think of the money I’ll save!

You both should be so proud! It looks like it turned out exactly as you dreamed it would! Congratulations! Hope to be up there and see you soon!

Thank you so much! I can’t believe Jeff could picture this in what was just…jungle! It’s very exciting.
