April Fools Fail
Every April 1st, Jeff and I look forward to the one blog post of the year we write together. We usually start spitballing ideas…on our rides to town…as soon as the last one was published.
This year we had some ideas, but none of them quite…landed. We are busy, sure. Jeff’s been on a 3 month stretch at the camp….with just a smattering of days off. And when the news cycle is what it is – in the US and Belize and the entire world…parody and real life feel kinda blurred. It’s hard to be funny right now!
Excuses, excuses…
So instead, here is a look back at our April Fools’ greatest hits – all, I think, still hold up today!
Enjoy the holiday 🙂
Actually…as I recap…it’s scary how relevant they all are!

Its hard to see much progress until the government puts more money into roads and the infrastructure up north. They just keep promising but don’t deliver. They are short sighted about economic development.
Sargasso Beer one of my FAVORITES
Not a beer drinker but will order the sargassum pizza and the the wife will have sargassum ceviche. No more sour sop for us. Sargassum ice cream!
SPMoose……………..a name off my radar for quite awhile now, Still around? Or maybe he is off flying a kite.
