This Thursday’s “Tasting Thursday” menu is…
First Course – Grilled Grits and Shrimp Latte – Tender local shrimp, flash sautéed with garlic, espresso and a touch of cream, over
crispy grilled cheddar grit cakes with a bourbon espresso glaze.
Second Course – Front Street Coffee En-Crusted “jerk” Chicken – Spicy jerk marinated breast of chicken, crusted with fine ground Caye Coffee and slow roasted, served over fried plantains with a chipotle mole’ sauce.
Third Course – Lobster Cappuccino – Buttery poached lobster, served in a rich Caye Coffee, cappuccino infused lobster jus, topped with a lemon thyme foam, and drizzled with brandy.
Fourth Course – Turkish Coffee Pork Ragu – Slow braised pork shoulder, in a rich Turkish coffee ragu, with hints of balsamic, black olives, cardamom, and of course sweet tomatoes, over vanilla scented buttered noodles.
Fifth Course – Irish Coffee Crème – Miniature chocolate cups filled with warm sweetened Caye Coffee and Khalua topped with a Jameson’s whiskey flavored whipped cream with house made edible swizzle sticks.
