January 2024: Daily Events Calendar on Ambergris Caye

January is a fantastic time to visit Ambergris Caye, Belize. It’s the beginning of the dry season – and the weather is reliably warm and sunny. It’s a very popular time to visit and you’ll find lots of events, parties and live music shows all over the island.

The last week in January/first week in February has been very popular with visitors for decades. Jerry Jeff Walker hosted “Camp Belize” for years, and attracted visitors from all over the USA. His son, Django Walker, continues the tradition. And you’ll see “Pickin’ Parties” all over the island. Here is the preliminary schedule.

Popular Texas songwriter Kelly McGuire visits yearly to put on a slew of shows to celebrate his birthday and the island. It’s ALWAYS a fun time.
