Outside Belize

I live on Ambergris Caye in Belize full-time and while I love to travel, it's harder to do from Belize.  It's not like living in NYC - with three big international airports in the vicinity and thousands of flights leaving each day.  But I have done some travel in the immediate area.  To Mexico - and the gorgeous city of Merida (my last trip in May 2022) - where many Belizeans travel if they are in need of more serious medical care - and to the closest city - just north of Belize - called Chetumal.

There are some incredible spots that I've traveled to in Guatemala - like the Maya city of Tikal - to Flores (which is so pretty and close to Belize's western border) to Antigua (the sights!  the food!) and the natural wonder - Lake Atitlan.  And I can't wait to do more.

Here are my travels outside of Belize.
