Soooo many people visit Ambergris Caye and immediately think about moving to the island. Relocating to Belize…buying property and owning a business so they too can “live the dream”.  

It makes sense that one of the most common questions I’m asked is, “What type of business is needed most?” I’ve written a lot about this over the years, the last time being in 2021.

It’s a question I often discuss with Jeff as we go about our day-to-day lives. We’re busy with the camp at Cayo Frances and getting a new project off the ground, but at times, we discuss options for another job…a “side hustle”…something that could bring in a bit of needed income.

While a bar and restaurant are obviously the easiest ways to turn a profit, Jeff is reluctant to get back into the kitchen.
