Snapshots Around Ambergris Caye and My Favorites Around Belize
This morning is WINDY…the windows to the south are rattling away.
A favorite sign in town at the Roman Catholic School.
But that is not my topic. Here are snapshots that I’ve taken around Ambergris Caye and some FABULOUS ones taken around the country by others on Instagram. My favorite social media outlet of all…
I mean…in case you were wondering.
And one picture of just a plan to go to Belize.
This gorgeous artist visiting Belize.
Delicious sushi night at Blue Water Grill.
One of MANY dishes.
The weather has been absolutely gorgeous – with last week’s “cold front” making the air crisp (about 60% humidity) and the temperature low. Highs around 78.
And meditation at Ak’Bol resort.
The pool at X’tan Ha Resort.
My favorite tree.
And this pretty collage of many of the colorful spots in San Pedro.
The water (until these winds!) was calm and clear.
A permit gleaming in the sun.
I did a bit of accidental birding. My favorite – the roseate spoonbill.
And an ospreys’ nest built at the top of a telephone pole.
I visited an amazing dental clinic. AMAZING.
Ice cream at the Truck Stop. Maybe twice…or three times. The homemade waffle cones are divine. Has anyone tried the Jager or Guinness? Looking for feedback and too scared to taste 🙂
My smiling dog.
A cute name for some tasty honey.A photo in Caye Caulker. Been left open one too many times.
Renting bikes to cats on Caye Caulker.
And Carnaval starts this coming weekend…don’t be frightened. It’s fun and I’m almost positive that you won’t get painted unless you want to be.
I absolutely love this photo…
I’d ask permission to make it my Christmas card but then, I don’t send out any.
A joke that never grows old – on Caye Caulker.
Getting toenails cleaned up…necessary when you are always in flip flops.
And then out in Cayo…the beautiful drive to one of the most beautiful places on earth. Chaa Creek.
And then India. T – 8 days until I head to Kerala, India on a blogging tour. It’s still too crazy for me to grasp.
