A March Tuesday on Ambergris Caye

It’s breezy, warm, humid March on Ambergris Caye.  The “March Blow” is blowing (just one of the seasons that we have on the island) – and the sargasso is coming in.

Instead of dwelling on that, I’ll show you some pictures I took in town yesterday.  As I waited for the water taxi to take me home.

The gas station dock.  The gas barge was there doing a fill up.

And then the Amigos Del Mar dock – where the Coastal Xpress office is located.   It runs from here to the north – every two hours.  Here’s the schedule.

20 minutes later and a few stops, I’m dropped off at 7 miles north.

I’m just shaking off the remnants of an island cold that hit on Saturday morning.  Back to work!

I am visiting some parts of the island tomorrow that I have never seen…

And bringing my bug spray.
